Today we, Kassie, Rhett and I decided to try and beat the heat by indulging in some peaches and cream at Bill’s Berry Farm’s Peach Festival.
Considering, it was a scolding 106 degrees out, that was no easy task. But, the farm supplied us with ample shade trees and much to keep us entertained.
Granny even got in some photos of a couple of her favorite subjects.
But, if truth be told – we sort of think that this little girl had the right Idea..
Bill’s Berry Farm, the little farm that thought it could… so it did. I can recall not to many years ago When visiting with this family, them sharing their vision of a family friendly venue where young and old could come to escape, pick berries, listen to good music and be community… now, years down the road they have expanded to include a farm store and three generation run the grounds providing friendly dialog, laughter and country charm. While we may not have completely beat the heat… we did come home with a box of peaches and that will make daddy and papa happy.
