Hi, my name is Rene’ Groom. I am a wife, mom, granny, friend, speaker, writer, accidental photographer, woman of faith, gardener, and self-proclaimed Brilliantologist. I’m a Cowgirl called to share the stories of those I meet down the dusty roads of life.
My husband Tom and I have been married 38 years and we have 4 sons, Thomas, Luke, Cole, and Matthew. To that, amazing daughters have entered our lives because they love our boys. Then mix in 3 amazing grandsons, 3 beautiful granddaughters, and a pack of grand-pups. Among the blessings that are my family, I am also blessed with amazing friends who support me in my writing, photography, and my passion for growing and using herbs.
I am a self-proclaimed brilliantologist; meaning I am committed to finding and sharing the many brilliant stories that surround us. I find great joy in helping others tell their stories as they live them out on the back roads of life. I was born a writer… I was also born with dyslexia  – doesn’t God have a great sense of humor- HE never promises us an easy road.
I find myself in my garden most often when I am not writing or taking photos. while I grow a bit of everything my passion is growing and using herbs.
